In Zakopane in TATRY the weather changes quickly
in these days.
A lot of mist and some rainy moments happen.
Not always we may go in higher parts of our lovely mountains.
BUTOROWY WIERCH (1160 m) is not very high,
but the route is nice and there is a beautiful panorama
on GIEWONT, one of our most characteristic mountains in TATRY.
In winter a chairlift is busy working on BUTOROWY, but
in summer usually, as well.
On the top of it there are little shops with souvenirs,
restaurants and you may go further to nearby GUBAŁÓWKA.
Really,
everybody in Poland knows this little mountain with cable rainway (Gubałówka).

After some hot days,
there we have some thunderstorms,
like the title of one of my new favourite books
"Season of thunderstorms" (not yet translated).
Some floods and heavy rains, hail,
hot days are coming back on weekend.
ŚWINOUJŚCIE was flooded and for some time there was no electricity.
Similarly in MIĘDZYZDROJE.
Sezon burz właśnie nadszedł.
Upały wracają w weekend.
ŚWINOUJŚCIE miejscowo było zalane w niedzielę,
były też problemy z prądem i grad. Podobnie w Międzyzdrojach.
Today I will share my thougts about some dangerous,
however very much beautiful places in TATRY mountains,
everybody in Poland knows ORLA PERĆ killed a lot of people,
it is said that about 120 souls.
In summer a lot of us are somewhere there,
take care, when you are in the mountains,
some people are just addicted to them
but always we should judge the situation the best we can.

by the way one of my friends was a couple of years ago
in ORLA PERĆ (I was a long time ago, once)
and it was spring, in higher parts of the mountains
there is still frozen snow.
He could not find the frozen chain, and he told me he almost saw his
death, looking there in the abyss.

Dziś ORLA PERĆ, która, jak wielu w Polsce wie, zabiła już podobno ponad 120 osób. Niestety, co roku znowu widzimy na portalach społecznościowych
i słyszymy, że ktoś wybrał się na Giewont, albo nawet na Rysy-tak to było
nie dalej niż 2 tyg, temu- w TRAMPKACH.
Wszyscy słyszeli tez pewnie w dzienniku historię ojca, który
zabrał swojego małego syna na ORLĄ i jak potem zrobiła się afera.

We are very lucky this year in Poland.
Last year I remember we had rainy and windy July,
so now it is fully compensated.

Właściwie nie ma nic do dodania,
lipiec mamy piękny,
zupełnie inny niż rok temu.
Czasem mała burza,
jednak, co tu kryć,
na takie upały jak teraz,
choć kocham góry bardzo,

I really adore sea.
Spending time there is, as I deeply believe, helpful for our body, mind,
nerves and soul.
However, I would like to mention a little what the problem with KOŁOBRZEG is.
From one side there are lovely beaches, promenade, lighthouse, and
in the eastern side of the town very modern hotels with a lot of facilities.
BUT, from the other side the center of the city looks like old buildings from the communistic times made of concrete.
I know this climat from my childhood.
And I do not want to talk about it,
just erase it forever.
That is why I have some ambiguous thouths in the city (town)
of KOŁOBRZEG where, when I was a child,
a communistic Festival of Soldier' Songs was held each year.

Do not worry, some truth sometimes must be spoken
KOŁOBRZEG, jest bardzo miłym miejscem,
z jednej strony ma tak wiele atrakcji, swój niepowtarzalny klimat i
warto tam być,
z drugiej jednak strony nazwa tego miasta ciągle przypomina mi,
że przez lata był tam słynny Festiwal, każdy Polak wie jaki.
Przypominają o tym liczne stare post-komunistyczne blokowiska,
ta charakterystyczna zabudowa w centralnej cześci miasta, dochodząca
aż do dzielnicy nadmorskiej.
Ale nic to, trzeba myśleć o przyszłości,
pamiętając o przeszłości.
Dobrej Nocy.
KOŁOBRZEG is located, as I was mentioning before about 100 km from ŚWINOUJŚCIE.
It is a nice place, you may see it on my pictures, they are taken during the walk along the promenade, which is next to the seaside.
There are restaurants, cafes etc.
It ends near the LIGHTHOUSE, a big and beautiful one, built from the red bricks.
From that point we can walk further to see the mouth of the PARSĘTA river, there are numerous breakwater rocks,
and that little "pier" ends with a small red lighthouse, which resembles the one at the mouth of Świna river, in ŚWINOUJŚCIE.
A big pier in KOŁOBRZEG is not on the pictures, because it is under renovation this summer. The entrance to that pier, normally, is situated on the eastern side from the LIGHTHOUSE.
HAVE a good night or a good day, wherever you are now.
Next time I will probably write about my real attitude to KOŁOBRZEG, how I find the whole town.
KOŁOBRZEG, ciekawe miejsce, lubiane przez wiele osób w Polsce.
Dziś zdjęcia ze spaceru wzdłuż promenady, w kierunku słynnej latarni, powyżej
parę linków o latarni.
Spod niej można udać się dalej na bardzo miły spacer, między licznymi gwiazdoblokami, wzdłuż ujścia rzeki PARSĘTY.
Często przepływają statki wycieczkowe i inne, naprawdę bardzo przyjemna podróż, kończy się ona pod niewielką czerwoną latarenką,
bardzo podobną jak ta u ujścia rzeki Świny, w Świnoujściu.

USTRONIE MORSKIE is a small resort about 130 km from SWINOUJŚCIE and 11 km from KOŁOBRZEG on the right side on the map, which means to the eastern side, however 8 km from GĄSKI, which is more on the east .

Nice, a lot of small shops with souvenirs, ice-creams and whatever you could wish to eat or to buy.
The beach is not wide, but pleasant.
Additionally very nice pier.
I know I m not very objective in this case, but I think one of the widest and the most beautiful, probably is in ŚWINOUJŚCIE...

Dziś kilka fotek z USTRONIA MORSKIEGO, które mieści się 130 km od Świnoujścia, 11 km od Kołobrzegu, a ok. 8 km od Gąsek.
USTRONIE nie jest duże, ale wzdłuż głównej ulicy ciągną się niezliczone atrakcje z pamiątkami, lody i inne przyjemności, więc można tam spędzić trochę czasu.
Plaże miła, ładne molo, naprawdę fajne miejsce.
Powyżej parę linków, min. kamery on-line z widokiem na plażę.
